N-Paraffin/LAB Project
S. Srinavasan, Research Director, in a 30-year career with Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation Ltd (SPIC) Group Of Companies led these major projects: Tamilnadu Petroproducts Ltd (TPL) for Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB) in 1985, Manali Petrochemical Ltd (MPL) producing Propylene Oxide, Propylene Glycol, Polyol, in 1988. He was also general manager (Site)of Manali Petrochemical for four years and SPIC Organics Ltd (SORL) for three years and established systems to better control production norms and optimise production, improving capacity utilization from 70% to 100%. On their merger, S. Srinavasan became General Manager (Projects).
