Saudi Communications Development Company (SCDC)Developed as a joint venture between the Saudi Offset Limited Partnership and the Saudi-owned Aquad for Commerce, Ltd., SCDC will operate as an incubator for IT projects, such as Arabic content providers and wireless application services. SCDC’s major initiative is the development of a 3G wireless digital project in cooperation with major international communications companies. SCDC was established in 2002 and in 2005 agreement was reached to transfer the SOLP's 50% ownership in SCDC to DevCorp International BSC (c).
